ATH-D40fs are an Enhanced-bass Precision Studiophones. They are perfect to be used with Drums, bass and other low frequency sound sources in studio or live performances, offering a great clarity of sound with high SPL capabilities. These headphones provide comfortable earpieces with very soft cushions and are able to rotate up to 180 degree for one-ear monitoring. These studiophones fit 40-millimeter drivers with neodymium magnets and copper-clad aluminium wire voice coils. On this model you are able to replace cables, drivers and earpads when needed.
