Samson XPL-100 Portable PA Loudspeaker

The XPL100 with a compact and lightweight design, offers unbelievably clear audio with plenty of power. This passive portable loudspeaker delivers excellent sound dispersion thanks to its sleek, molded cabinet design, which utilizes substantial internal bracing to support its thick sidewall construction. Neutrik SpeakonTM connectors, convenient fly-points, a steel grill and a scuff-resistant textured finish ensure exceptional versatility in an enclosure that is built to last.
The XPL100 like all Expedition enclosures, features a custom designed 12-inch low frequency driver. It combines a 2.5-inch voice coil and ferrite magnet to produce an accurate, super-tight bass response. The XPL100's high frequency section employs a 1.5-inch compression driver along with an elliptical wave-guide horn that controls dispersion. This, combined with a phasing plug, produces a linear response with a clear, musical top end.
The selective grouping of these internal components in combination with a durable cabinet design results in a loudspeaker that will provide years of consummate performance in any number of applications.
