Kustom HV-20 Hybrid Combo

An all-new model, the HV20 distills the HV experience down to a 20-watt format with a 10-inch Celestion™ speaker. The heart of the amp however is its 12AX7 tube preamp. To maximize the tube’s distinctive audio characteristics and dynamic range, the HV preamp circuit operates at higher voltage levels. The resulting tone is rich, dynamic and loaded with harmonic content.

The HV20 features the design aesthetics of the new HV Series, with its unique, rounded cabinet edge, new handle and control knob designs, grill cloth and piping, as well as the classic, vintage Kustom logo.

The HV20 offers a two-channel layout, each with Gain and Master Volume controls. This Dual Master system provides natural tube overdrive and compression on both channels and it’s great for dialing in both medium- and high-gain tones with ease.

And when you crank the HV Master Volume controls, Kustom’s exclusive Organic Clipping™ power amp circuit reacts like an all-tube amp, generating lower order, musical harmonics and natural clipping characteristics. It’s the classic power amp “growl” that guitarists know and love, with a smooth transition from clean to grind.

The Speaker-Emulated Direct Out circuit is borrowed from the Kustom Coupe™. It was designed to provide a rich, strong signal that cops the total Coupe combo sound coming from the amp, cabinet and speakers. This signal can be routed to mixers or recorders for live or studio use – you’ll never worry about mic’ing this amp!

The HV20 has its own unique effects section that mixes analog and digital technologies to provide an independent Reverb control as well as eight footswitchable effects, including a “Delay + Boost” setting that makes guitar solos really stand out.

The optional HV footswitch can switch between channels or activate the amp’s built-in effects.
