Allen & Heath XONE:42 Professional Four Channel DJ Mixer

The XONE:42 is a four channel DJ mixer with professional features and fitted with a USB audio interface. It was designed to permit a perfect integration with the most advanced DJ technology. Its intuitive design makes it one of the easiest-to-use high-tech tool.
Of the 4 channels it features, 1 and 4 have Phono/line inputs, while channels 2 and 3 are line/line inputs. All four channels have 3 band EQ with +6 dB to total Kill, a 3-color bar meter with 9 segments, gain control plus 60mm faders with the crossfader X/Y selection illuminated. XONE’s well known Voltage Control Filter comes on each channel through illuminated assignment switches, filter type selectable, resonance and frequency controls.
The X-FX system is a new feature that enables to integrate an external effects processor. The channel signal sent to the effects unit is controlled proportionally from 0 to 100% by just one knob, while the affected signal may be returned to the main mix or routed through the filter.
The XONE:42’s USB audio interface can be used for playing back music files from a laptop and to record mixes from the XONE:42 or, used with suitable software, like a digital DJ effects unit to be patched into the X-FX system. An XLR microphone may be combined with the USB input so as to provide an extra channel with two band EQ and rotary level control.
