Product Description
The ATM250DE by Audio-Technica is a dual element design mic for more accuracy in high sound pressure sources such as kick drum, brass, percussion and other instruments in the same range.
The hypercardioid dynamic element gives an accurate detail of the beat while the condenser element captures the resonant tonalities. It is practically impossible to achieve the perfect phase relationship of the elements in the ATM250DE with two separate microphones. The neodymium magnet is for high headroom and very low noise floor, while the hypercardioid polar pattern minimizes off-axis noise and feedback. The clamp included with this microphone provides secure and versatile mounting with effective isolation of undesired mechanical noise.
